Born and bred in Western Australia, Wendy is a former police officer turned curriculum developer with a lifelong passion for storytelling. She is an active member of several writing groups, a member of SCBWI (Australia West) and serves on the CBCA WA State Committee as newsletter editor. Wendy lives near Fremantle with her family where she writes, bakes, and tends to her opinionated dogs that have too much hair! Her debut picture book Ruby’s Fire Safety Plan is due for release in February 2026.
