Myth, history and contemporary tropes background Sharon’s writing. Creating stories where imagination and reality cross paths, she likes exploring new perspectives and ways of understanding through narratives that take shape in new forms.
Active in Perth’s writing community, Sharon runs groups, is editor and curator of zines, mentors fledging writers and editors, and provides opportunity and advocacy for the wider writing community through her creative projects developed at the Peter Cowan Writers Centre. She is the PCWC Liaison & Finance Oversight for the Festival of Fiction.
